I had an amazing time exploring the picturesque streets and indulging in delicious Alsatian cuisine. The hotel itself had great amenities, like a terrace and shopping options. The buffet breakfast was a delightful start to my day.
Well, it's a shame that I didn't have enough time to try the spa services, but I guess I'll just have to come back again!

The hotel had a beautiful and charming room decor, reminiscent of a romantic palace. The breakfast was delicious, with a wide selection of fruits and local products. The location of the hotel was excellent, close to a picturesque village and with easy access to key attractions.
The bed was also smaller than expected, which made it uncomfortable for two people to sleep. These factors negatively affected my overall experience during my Easter stay at the hotel.

We had a fantastic stay at a beautiful house in the middle of the plot. The owner and team at Le Manoir were extremely accommodating and provided better service than the 5* Hotel we had used in Belgium. The breakfast was delicious, varied, and of great quality. The rooms were clean and had renovated bathrooms. The location was perfect, as it was situated on the Alsace Wine Route and close to main family attractions. The ample onsite parking was a big plus, and we enjoyed a delightful view of the vineyards and hills from our window.
Absolutely nothing to say about dislikes. 😊

Le Manoir is a pitoresque and quite place to stay, friendly staff, nice breakfast.
Queens size bed is to small for two people, pillows to flat. Our mattrass was a bit worn out. Not an ideal sleep therefore. For the rest all ok. Room is well light projective with double curtains.

We booked our trip to the Alsace region last minute in high season and had very few options for hotels. Le Manoir had a room free, and we were pleased with it. High ceilings and decor gave this hotel its charm. The hotel is in walking distance to the center, and we found a little gem of a restaurant to satisfy our appetites at Aux Saisons Gourmandes.
The breakfast was overpriced at 9 euro a pop, and the town of Barr is a sleepier, less gastronomically renowned village along the Route du Vin. We would have preferred to stay a tad closer to Riquewihr, Ribeauville, or even in Mittelbergheim or Obernai.

Good area, nice castle, clean and well decorated room.
Nevertheless, bed quality was so-so..., and I could not enjoy real breakfast as it starts at 7.00am only. My overall feedback is positive.

We got great value for our money with a charming room in an old villa that had been nicely renovated. The location was perfect, right on the Alsace Wine Route, and the staff treated us wonderfully.
The breakfast could have been better with a greater variety of cheese or ham.

I indulged in a lovely Thai massage, had a delicious buffet breakfast every morning, and explored the area with its charming colorful facades.
Oh, there were just so many restaurants nearby serving delicious Alsatian cuisine that it was a real struggle to decide where to eat!

The hotel's old-world charm and elegant furnishings create a jaw-dropping ambiance that instantly transports you to another era. The view from my balcony was mind-blowing, with twinkling lights on the trees that added a touch of magic to the evenings. The dining area was always open, offering a super breakfast buffet and delightful afternoon tea. The staff were nice and accommodating, going above and beyond to provide excellent service. a fantastic experience worth recommending.

The hotel had a playground for toddlers, helpful staff, and a great location with warm rooms. The breakfast was good and the hotel had a safe place to store bikes.
Nothing that I didn't like.

We had a wonderful stay at a charming European villa. The room was spacious and had a lovely view of the rooftops and vineyards. The bathroom had a large bathtub, perfect for a relaxing soak. The hotel had a playground in the yard, which kept our little one entertained. The location was ideal, close to everything but still quiet. it was a perfect escape and we would definitely recommend this hotel.

Lovely old house with lots of period features and antique furniture. Good location within delightful town of Barr. Room was clean with good ensuite facilities. Afternoon tea offered - tea and biscuit- for arriving travellers.
No lift, so only suitable for fit guests able to carry their luggage up 2 flights of stairs. Ask for a downstairs room if you are likely to struggle!
